Tea and Coffee
SGL are pleased to provide free tea and coffee to everyone again this year – kindly provided by our sponsor, First Light Optics,
Following on from the success of the marquee in 2018, we will again be having a similar facility this year. The marquee serves as the warm room, as well as hosting talks and generally being the centre of things.
If you feel the urge to bake a cake and bring along for everyone to share – don’t fight it! Go with it!!
On the Friday, we will be organising a Curry Night to be held in the site café, along with the SGL Quiz – although if numbers from last year are anything to go by, tis may well be in the marquee as well!
This is your chance to come and meet the Admin and Mod team, your fellow campers and generally get the star party off to a great start!
Tickets for the curry are available as:
All served with popadoms and rice/chips.
Even if you don’t fancy the curry, come along for the quiz! It’s very informal and a great way to spend the evening!
Of course, if it’s clear, it will be a short quiz!!
We will be teaming up again this year with Golden Valley Hog Roast and Catering! For the last 8 years, Mark and his team have delivered an excellent hog roast event for us – crispy crackling, juicy meat and lashings of apple-sauce!!
Tickets are available as:
(If the weather looks poor, we will be in the café or marquee, otherwise in the open air)
The café offers a Sunday roast, and you can book your tickets for these at the same time as your other food, via the SGL Shop. You can also book direct with the café, but be warned – they do get booked up and sold out quickly!!
There is usually a choice of beef, lamb or chicken – when you click through to the bookings page, you’ll be able to see which options are available.
